Terms of Service (Google Slides Add-on)

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of GPT for Slides – Twistly, the Twistly add-on for Google Slides™ (the “Add-on” or the “Service”). The Add-on is provided by Apps Do Wonders LLC, a limited liability company based in Dallas, Texas (“Apps Do Wonders”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By installing or using the Add-on, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy (Google Slides Add-on). If you use the Add-on on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Add-on.

The Service

The Add-on uses artificial intelligence to create presentations in Google Slides™ from a topic, text or a file you provide. We may add, change or remove features at any time.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use the Add-on. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the Add-on only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

You sign in to the Add-on with your Google account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under it. Contact us at support@twistly.ai if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Google services

The Add-on works inside Google Slides™. Your use of Google Slides™ and Google Workspace™ is also subject to Google’s own terms. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the Add-on. Google Slides™ and Google Workspace™ are trademarks of Google LLC.

Free use, subscriptions and payment

You can start using the Add-on for free, within the limits we set from time to time. Additional use requires a paid subscription. Current plans, prices and limits are listed at twistly.ai/pricing.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. When you buy a subscription, you also agree to Paddle’s Buyer Terms.

Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you choose. Prices may include or exclude taxes depending on your location; applicable taxes are shown at checkout.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time at twistly.ai/manage-subscription or by emailing support@twistly.ai. After cancellation, you keep access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.

We may change our prices. If a price change affects your subscription, we will tell you in advance, and the new price will apply from your next billing period.

Refunds

You may request a refund within 14 days of your purchase by emailing support@twistly.ai. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle to your original payment method, in the original currency.

AI credits that you have already used are not refundable. After the 14-day period, payments are non-refundable, except where the Service was not provided or where applicable law requires otherwise. We are not responsible for differences caused by currency exchange rates.

If you cannot access the Add-on after purchase, please tell us within 7 days so we can fix the problem.

Before filing a chargeback with your bank, please contact us first so we can resolve the issue. We may dispute chargebacks that we believe are unjustified. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Add-on to:

  • break any law or infringe anyone’s rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights;
  • create or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit or hateful;
  • upload content you do not have the right to use;
  • spread malware, spam or deceptive content;
  • reverse engineer, copy, resell or interfere with the Add-on, or try to bypass its limits or security;
  • access the Add-on with automated tools, except as we expressly allow.

We may suspend or limit your access if you break these rules.

Your content

You keep all rights to the topics, text and files you submit (“Input”) and to the presentations the Add-on creates for you (“Output”). You give us a limited license to process your Input and Output only to provide and support the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for your Input and for making sure you have the right to use it. We do not claim ownership of your content.

AI-generated content

Output is generated automatically by artificial intelligence. It may be inaccurate, incomplete or not unique, and similar content may be generated for other users. Review all Output before you use or share it. Output is not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

Our intellectual property

The Add-on, including its software, design, templates, trademarks and the Twistly name and logo, belongs to Apps Do Wonders LLC and its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Add-on under these Terms. You may use templates provided by Twistly only within presentations you create with the Add-on.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

Third-party services

The Add-on relies on third-party services, including Google Workspace™, cloud hosting providers and AI model providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic. We are not responsible for the availability or actions of these third parties. ChatGPT is a trademark of OpenAI. Twistly is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google LLC or OpenAI.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy (Google Slides Add-on) explains how we collect, use and protect your data, including data we receive from Google APIs. We do not use your Google data to train AI models.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Add-on at any time by uninstalling it and revoking its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Uninstalling does not cancel a paid subscription; cancel it as described above.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if required by law, or if we stop offering the Add-on. If we stop offering the Add-on, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid subscription.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Add-on is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Add-on will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apps Do Wonders LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the Add-on. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Add-on is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Apps Do Wonders LLC from any claims, damages and costs arising from your content, your use of the Add-on in breach of these Terms, or your violation of anyone’s rights.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, unless applicable consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date below. If the changes are material, we will notify you in advance. By continuing to use the Add-on after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
